Yellowtail Kingfish is now available fresh from the Netherlands!

The first farmed Pacific yellowtail kingfish to be commercially produced in Province of Zeeland in the Netherlands by ‘Kingfish Zeeland’ is now available.

'Kingfish Zeeland’ taps into the pristine marine estuary water of the Oosterschelde, a Natura 2000 nature reserve- working to deliver a fresh, sustainable, and healthy premium delicacy:
The Yellowtail Kingfish [Seriola Lalandi/ Pacific Yellowtail/ Hiramasa/ often used interchangeably with close cousin Hamachi], a high grade Sashimi, grilled, or smoked classic, is an excellent sustainable alternative to over-fished or unsustainably farmed premium species.

The debut of this first farmed Yellowtail Kingfish, organized by Food Love Stories.nl, took place at Nayolie.
