    Private Messages

     

    We do not provide the possibility to poste public comments to express your excitement and promote high quality.

    Instead, we offer our Members the ability to send and receive Private Messages.

     



    What is a Private Message 
    You can send a Private Message to your own connections or to other Members within the platfrom. Private Messages to your connections are sent between you and one connection or multiple connections. Private Messages to other Members are sent between you and only one specific Member.
    Messages can be sent if there are questions about updates and business interests or in order to receive more information about a product or service.

    Who can send and receive a Private Message
    All Primedinners Members are able to send and receive Private Messages. Company profiles need an upgrade first in order to send all members messages.

    Where can I find my Private Messages
    The private messages will be stored in your personal "Inbox". You can find your "Inbox" by clicking on the envelope in the top main menu or on your own personal Primetime page at the "Private Messages" section. The “Inbox” contains any new messages you receive. It allows you to view all the messages you have received and you have sent, along with the name of the person who sent it, date and time the message was sent.

    Send a Private Message
    You can send a Private Message to your own connections or to other Members within the platform.

    To send a message to your connection; click on the envelope in the top main menu and select "new". Or click on the envelope image at a connections update on your timeline. Private Messages to connections needs: 

    • Receiver's name: select your connections name at "New Message for" 
    • Content of the message: type your message in the text field 
    • File: you have the option to add a file to your message. 
    • Click "Send" button 

    Send a message to a Member (non-connection); search and visit the Member profile, Quality Member/Restaurant or Company profile. Click on the "send message" link at the profile. You might not see this button on some people's profiles, depending on their privacy settings. Private Messages to other Members needs: 

    • Content of the message: type your message in the text field 
    • Click on "Send" button

    Reply on a Private Message 
    In order to respond to a private message you need to click on the message from the sender. When you select the message, you are able to see the complete conversation between you and the sender. Click on the text field, and type the content of your message. Click "Send" button to send your message.

    Read messages
    If you have messages waiting to be read in your "Inbox", you will be notified via an alert (number alert) in the envelope image in your top main menu. The number alert refers to the number of new received messages. When your message has been read by the receiver, a read mark (eye image) will appear in the lower-left corner.

    Delete a Private Message 
    You can manage your inbox and delete messages. You can delete messages by clicking on "x".

    Settings for Private Messages
    In your personal settings you can specify your preferences (specify your settings at My Profile - Manage profile -Settings):

    • You can choose whether you want to get an email notification when you receive a Private Message
    • You can choose whether you want to receive Private Messages from all Members or only from your connections.
